2009 Alzheimer’s Benefit Concert

In the spirit of Christmas, TiL Dawn will be performing at the Alzheimer’s Fund-raising concert at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet, IL alongside other talented acts like I. Write, Rhythm Ghost, Konstant Groove etc..in and effort to raise $10,000.  The 2009 Alzheimer’s Benefit Bash is a concert event that benefits The Doris Geneva Lumpkin Memorial Tribute Fund. The organization donates to The National Alzheimer’s Association to aid in Alzheimer’s Disease Research and Awareness. Popular Music co-founder and hip hop artist Keith I. Write Freeman started the tribute fund after his late grandmother who died due to Alzheimer’s related illnesses.

Each artist is responsible for raising at least $100 for the show and are taking donations here.  The tickets to the show are $10 and all proceeds go to that fund.  The place is going to be at full capacity, and nothing would be better than knowing everyone was there for us, yet if you can’t attend for any reason, your donation(s) will count toward our goal and you will be rewarded….With what you ask?

We have been blessed with the ability to get access to new industry singles from Signed artists, like Drake, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx, Usher, Mary J Blige, Jay Z, etc…before they become top singles on the radio.  For those of you who are willing to make a donation of any amount..preferably the $10 variety.  You will receive a compilation of 50 mp3’s that will be available for a free download.  a $10 donation is required to attend the concert, so if you can’t afford $10 round up some friends, family, co-workers etc..to help out a good cause.
